EPS comes in 4 versions; that is, as far I have been able to research. Those are: under dash mounted motor, rack mounted motot perpendicular, rack mounted motor parallel and rack mounted motor co-linear. The pictures above are of the latter, and most likely to be adaptable to the Z32. The link below describes with some detail the NSX system.

The S2000 system is identical to the early NSX. What I assume is later model NSX is shown on the picture below. To make the system operate all it needs is 12VDC of suitable amperage and a speed signal (and the brain box, of course and wiring). Mounting the rack would be the most difficult part.
Never mind the racks shown are RHD. They exist in LHD.
